Insider Threat

Insider threats are – as the name says – cyberthreats coming from inside a company, means from current or former employees. They do not have to be with malicious intent per definition, but still can cause massive damage. Insider threats can be based on malicious intentions, for example if an employee is unhappy with their job and decides to steal valuable data. However, they can also be caused by careless behavior, for instance by someone who clicks on any suspicious link without thinking. In this blog post you can find out more about the different types of insider threats, how to detect them and how to protect yourself against them.
