Split-Brain

In high-availability systems, such as clusters or redundant setups, split-brain can occur when there is a failure in the communication between the redundant nodes. Each node may believe it is the "primary" or "active" node, leading to conflicts and potentially causing data corruption or service disruptions. The servers may record the same data inconsistently or compete for resources.
